一、PPTC的简介

自恢复保险丝,简称PPTC.是一种正温度系数聚合物热敏电阻,作过流保护用,可代替电流保险丝。电路正常工作时它的阻值很小(压降很小),当电路出现过流使它温度升高时,阻值急剧增大几个数量级,使电路中的电流减小到安全值以下,从而使后面的电路得到保护,过流消失后自动恢复为低阻值。其效果与开关组件类似,只是响应速度较慢。

二、PPTC的选用技巧
1.确定以下 的电路运行参数:

●正常工作电流- IHOLD

●电路电压最大值- VMAX

●最大中断电流- IMAX

工作环境温度

2.选择合适的封装形式:贴片PTC或者插件PTC。

3.比较的VMAX和IMAX的PTC数据表中的评级,以确保电路参数不超过这些额定值。

4.验证PTC的运行环境温度为它的正常工作范围内。确定Ihold和IMAX的温度曲线。
